"TOTTENHAM MUST GIVE FLOPS ANOTHER CHANCE"SAYS CLIVE ALLEN

Former Tottenham striker Clive Allen believes Roberto Soldado and Erik Lamela deserve another season with the London club to prove there worth.Allen said,"Roberto Soldado is a very good striker He has proven it to us time and time again in the La Liga,His just going threw a a bad time,English football is very hard to adapt to when you have spent so much time in Spain.Because the two Countries have there own types of football to offer,with different qualities of players.We need to give Him another season to try and adopt to English football.
The Spanish striker coasted the London club 26 million pounds but failed to live up to expectations,He only managed 10 goals last season.At the End of the season He fell behind youngster Harry Kane who got selected ahead of the Spanish striker in the Tottenham line-ups.


Erik Lamela is another player who deserves a second chance with the English club.The new head coach Mauricio Pochettino should give Erik a chance to prove Himself.Erik's debut season was ruined by injuries and lack of form.The player signed from Roma for a record fee of 30 million pounds and is expected to prove his worth next season.


Allen added on and said,the Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen has proved His worth with a wonderful season at the London club.He believes the midfielder can even improve next season,the new coach should take advantage of the players He has at his disposal.Allen said he thinks the players can improve and Help the new coach Mauricio Pochettino lead the club to a top four finish.(soccerheatbase)
