The dutch striker says He does not regret leaving Arsenal for Manchester united. The 30 year old won His first league title with united just 12 months after joining old trafford, netting 26 premier league goals and being awarded the golden boot.

The striker repeatedly said that he did not go for the money, but thought Manchester united would take his career a bit more further and was happy winning a medal just after 1 season with the mighty club, and he continued by saying am a gunner and a part of me will always miss playing at arsenal,i love Arsene Wenga,i love Arsenal,i love the players, but am also a winner and i thought it was time for me to win some trophies.

The striker that costed Sir Alex Ferguson 24 million pounds had impressed Ferguson with his strike rate that he had the last 18 months he spent with Arsenal.

But no matter what Van Persie says the Arsenal fans still think of him as a traitor and will always say he walked out on them when they needed him the most

United have struggled since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson, netting only the community shield in there trophy cabinet. The replacement of Ferguson failed to live up to expectations, being sucked only after 10 months.with Robin Van Persie being sidelined for most of the crucial points of the season,it still leaves the people to wonder if the striker was always available for David Moyes he might have just been the one to save Moyes's job.

Now Robin Van Persie will have to look forward to impressing the new Manchester United manager, who is no stranger to Him.Louis Van Gaal is the current Netherlands coach and gives Van Persie an upper hand against the other Manchester players, because if he can impress him at the World Cup.Only time will tell.(soccerheatbase.com)
