CHELSEA MID-FIELDER FRANK LAMPARD AND ATLETICO MADRID STRIKER DAVID VILLA ARE TO JOIN NEW YORK CITY FC

Frank Lampard and David Villa have both agreed transfers to newly formed club in the Major League Soccer,New York City FC.

It seems like Chelsea manager is planning on getting rid of most of his squad this summer with F.Lampard, A.Cole and Samuel Eto'o out of contract and not being offered new contracts,Fernando Torres and Demba Ba are doubts if wil see them at Stamford Bridge next season, with the coming of Diego Costa it will be hard for the 2 strikers to keep a place in the first team.

Frank Lampard has agreed to leave on a free transfer and so has Ashley Cole,Frank Lampard has agreed terms with the MLS newly formed club worth 150 thousand pounds a week which is less compared to what he currently earns at Chelsea.Frank Lampard has scored over 211 goals for Chelsea which makes him there highest goal scorer of all time,Lampard has struggled under Mourinho starting only 20 matches this season although featuring in 40 matches in all competitions.

Despite being 35 years old and turns 36 on June 20,Lampard keeps him self fit and will be able to play for a few more years.

David Villa is much younger than Frank Lampard,at 32 years Villa has not struggled for playing time as He has played 36 matches for the La Liga champions and has scored 13 goals playing a supporting role to Diego Costa. He also holds Spain's goal scoring record of 56 goal and is a deadly finisher. We are all sure He will prosper in the more open MLS which begins on 15th March 2015(soccerheatbase)
