ARSENAL AFTER WORLD CUP GOALKEEPER

It seems Arsene Wenger has his eyes open for Nice and Colombian Goalkeeper David Ospina. After Lukasz Fabianski left to join Swansea City it seems Arsenal manager is scouting a goalkeeper to compete with Arsenal's Wojciech Szczesny,Ospina, who plays in France with Nice, has been identified as a target and would cost as little as £3m, despite only recently signing a new deal at the Ligue 1 side. The 6ft shot-stopper has 42 caps for his country and will be their no.1 at the World Cup as they take on Greece, Japan and Ivory Coast in Group C without talisman Radamel Falcao, who will miss the finals through injury.

The 25-year-old has been monitored by Wenger for a while now, but the Frenchman is keen to see if he can perform on the big stage, and if his performances are at a high level, a formal bid is expected to be in the pipeline after the competition ends.Despite sevaral names on his wishlist.Wenger is keen on not spending to much on his goalkeeper and it looks like 3 million pounds will be just right for the Colombian shot-stopper.
