Bayern star has been on Manchester united's shopping list seem David Moyes took over but it seemed the midfielder was happy in Germany.New Manchester united Manager wants to take things in to his own hands and find a way to convince the midfielder to join him at united.The German midfielder has fallen out with the officials at Bayern due to contract talks and his current contract expires next season in June.

The Manchester united boss is expected to be busy this summer with plenty of expected signings and departures as the manager tries to reshape united in to the dominant force they once were.The manager says the midfield might  be one of united's weakest point and will try and re-shape it first.

The midfielder said He is happy in Germany and is not willing to move but with delays of signing a new contract might just lead to the board letting him go,instead of loosing him on a free transfer.Manchester united are not the only team interested in the midfielder but Real Madrid also seem to be after the player as well.It will be interesting to see who ends up with the midfielder at the end of the season between this power houses of soccer.(soccerheatbase)
