Jose Mourinho explains why He signed Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona.Arsene Wenger was the favorite to buy the player as because Arsenal had a buy back clause in Fabregas's Barcelona contract,But the manager turned down the chance because he has enough players in that position.Mourinho signed the Spaniard for 27 million pounds from Barcelona.
"He is the kind of player we [Chelsea] need," Mourinho said. "Not just
for his qualities as a player but also his competitive personality.
"He is a player in the best years of his career – 26, 27, 28. He knows
England well, he knows the Premiership well, so he will not need time to
adapt. "I think he is the kind of player who will come and train for a
couple of weeks and be ready to prove himself."
Mourinho thinks Fabregas can help lead Chelsea to the Premier league title next season.(soccerheatbase)
