Diego costa is being blamed for the poor performance by the World Champions,Spain have always played with a false striker and this is the first time they tried playing with true striker,they usually played a false striker in the shape of Fabregas but the experiment to try and play Costa who had a brilliant season with Atletico Madrid.
The player had a very poor performance in the two games which ended 5-1 in favor of Holland and 2-0 in favor of Chile,Costa only managed 1 shot on target in both games.Despite being Brazilian-born, Costa turned his back on his homeland, and chose to play for Spain instead, but it will be a tournament to forget for the 25-year-old.(soccerheatbase)
